DMV Engagement Photographer. I love the story of how I met Anika. I was in Olympia, setting up for a styled shoot and Anika and her family were touring the venue for her upcoming wedding. I gave them my card and the rest is history. I feel like the stars aligned when we met. Anika was getting married in her hometown of Olympia, but actually lived in Washington DC. We weren’t living in the DMV yet, but over the winter we took a trip to the east coast and were able to set up an engagement session for James and Anika.
We did a beautiful session on the mall. I am so glad that I was able to capture this special time of their lives and incorporate their new home in their story. The monuments are just a great location to capture the essence of DC.
