As a Washington DC Engagement Photographer, my job is not just to take pretty photos of a couple, but to help express their excitement and joy. Getting engaged is such an exciting time in a relationship, the first thing people want to do is share the news! What better way than gorgeous photos.

Jeff and Heather’s rustic engagement session is a perfect example of capturing a couples connection and love for one another. Jeff is totally head over heels for Heather and Jeff is her rock. You can tell by the way Jeff looks at Heather. He doesn’t stop looking at her, he is infatuated with her beauty and even more in love with her soul. Heather looks the most comfortable and relaxed when she is safe and secure in Jeff’s arms.

Beyond being a fun engagement session and a great couple, Jeff and Heather reminded me why I do what I do. It goes beyond capturing pretty photos to capturing the details and meaning behind their love story.
