I was lucky enough to meet Samantha’s mom at my booth during 2017 Clifton Days in Clifton, VA. Before I knew it I was meeting with Mitch and Samantha and planning their engagement session. I love their love story. I am partial to high school sweethearts and young love that goes the distance. But lets get back to the details of their wedding day, starting with Samantha’s wedding dress. Her dress is the epitome of a princess gown. Fluffy and twirly perfection. They had suites at the Westfields Marriott. The rooms are large and bright and perfect for detail photos! You could feel the love from her bride tribe as they all giggled and got their hair and makeup done. After getting ready, Samantha and her bridesmaids jumped in a stretch and went straight to the church!
The Wedding Ceremony
It has been a while since I have seen a bride get out of the car at a church and walk directly down the aisle, so it was super fun to watch Mitch as he saw his bride for walk down the aisle. They opted for a traditional Catholic Mass at St. Clare of Assisi in Clifton, Va. This church was meaningful to their family since Mitch’s parents were married there years before.
The celebration at Westfields Golf Club started the moment the bride and groom were introduced. The sentiments passed from parents and siblings was beyond heartwarming and encouraging. The dancing was, well…. so much fun. It is hard for me to hold back from swaying and wanting to dance. Samantha and Mitch also rented the KPC and Co. Photo Booth for their celebration and it was a hit! Check out the photo booth gallery here.
The evening ended with a beautiful sparkler exit as the bride and groom were whisked away.
